If you want to make a statement against homophobia in the construction industry let us tell you that a pink van is always a good start. We’re talking about a former boxer from East London that came out as gay 15 years ago and decided to start his own company because he couldn’t stand the level of homophobia in the construction industry anymore.
Thus, Ray Bulloch founded R&G (Ray and Gay) Builders and Property Maintenance and he seems to be doing quite well as he has more and more customers. It appears people found his company more appealing as they couldn't find a similar service elsewhere.

Moreover, the most eye-catching thing about Bullock certainly is his " fairy dust powered" pink van as well as his pink folder. Yes, you’ve read it right. It seems that the 49 year-old boxer wanted to stand out from the rest of the companies and bought as many tool and accessories in the color pink as he could find.  Also, he said that he is more than happy when he is listening to Gaydio while driving his pink vehicle.

According to him, all of this “It’s not about getting in people’s faces but slowly introducing them to show I’m not any different to anybody else.” This is indeed a very courageous thing to do, so props to him for showing that you shouldn’t be judged based on your sexuality and for making a pink van look so cool.
