Ford’s G6 Limited Edition Gets Huge Demand

Ford Australia’s decision to reintroduce the G6 Limited Edition model for the 2010 model was a great idea, as the customer’s interest in the luxury model is quite large.

The 2010 G6 Limited Edition is just like the 2009 model, except for the prestige paint which used to be an option and now is standard equipment. The car is based on the G6 model, but got some special factory treatment: luxury exterior and interior finishes offered at a remarkable price.

"The overwhelming success of last year's G6 Limited Edition has prompted its return for the 2010 model year," said Ford Australia Vice President Marketing, Sales & Service, Beth Donovan.

"With almost $4,000 of additional equipment at no extra cost and a fantastic $36,990 driveaway price point, the 2010 G6 Limited Edition offers customers almost $13,000 of net retail value compared to the regular G6, so we expect demand will continue to be strong for this unique model."

If you’re wondering what the big fuss is all about, you should know that the G6 Limited Edition gets G Series alloy wheels, unique colour on the upper and lower grilles, fog lamp bezels and rear bumper insert, and a 'Limited Edition' badge. The G6 Limited Edition’s interior has side curtain airbags, leather-detailed seat trim, leather-wrapped sports steering wheel with satin alloy audio and cruise control buttons, iPod integration and Bluetooth.

The G6 Limited Edition is available for Au $36,990. If you would like the LPG E-Gas engine, you’ll have to pay an extra Au $2,000.
