Ford has announced UK pricing information for the all-new Transit Connect van. Available to order as we speak, with deliveries to commence later this year, the Transit Connect has a starting price of £13,921. The new sticker means that the current Transit Connect is up to seven percent less expensive than the outgoing model.
Claimed to deliver best-in-class fuel efficiency with 70.6 mpg when using a 62 mph UK speed limited, the ECOnetic model is motivated by a 1.6-liter diesel with start-stop and an Active Grille Shutter. Ford also decided to fit the new van with the 1.0-liter EcoBoost unit, which returns 50.4 mpg UK and CO2 emissions of 129g/km, 24g/km more when compared to the ECOnetic. The 1.0-liter engine provides 100 HP, while the diesel mill can be had with a choice of 75, 95 and 115 HP.
The vehicles can be ordered in several body types and two chassis lengths - L1 and L2 -, with pricing from £13,921 and up to £19,130. For full pricing, refer to the photo gallery section below.
