The all-new American-spec Focus sedan follows the modern design language of its euro-spec siblings. A dominating feature of the front fascia is the plastic radiator grille heavily inspired from the English sports car manufacturer Aston Martin. The slim headlamps and protruding bonnet design complete the front look, along with the trapezoidal fog lights with gloss black surroundings.

In the back you'll find a small boot spoiler painted in black, redesigned brake lights that extend a bit to the sedan's rear three quarters and a slim third brake light right above the Blue Oval logo. The 2015MY Focus sedan can be kitted out with the SE Sport Package you can check out in our photo gallery below. It enhances the car with a set of 17-inch two-tone wheels, 215/50 HR-17 tires and paddle shifters on the back of the steering wheel if you opt for the automatic gearbox.

The engine options list now includes the tiny 1.0-liter three-cylinder turbocharged EcoBoost unit from the Fiesta hatchback, with 123 horsepower and 145 ft-lb (197 Nm) of torque on tap. This engine is available only with the six-speed manual. New shock absorber valves, modified rear suspension and recalibrated electric power steering give the 2015MY Focus sedan more engaging driving dynamics.

As for the interior, Ford says: "new Focus customers also will enjoy a quieter ride, achieved by thicker carpets and side window glass and improved engine-bay insulation." A redesigned steering wheel, satin chrome detailing on the dashboard and door panels, revamped switchgear and a redesigned center console complete the interior features of the 2015 Focus.

When it comes to gadgetry, this car sure has a lot of it in standard: rear view camera that works with a 4.2-inch display (or an 8-inch screen on models equipped with MyFord Touch), an updated Sync AppLink infotainment system, the MyKey safety feature and many other goodies to make life easier behind the wheel.

According to the just-released full-year Polk new vehicle registration data from IHS Automotive, the Ford Focus was the world’s best-selling vehicle in 2013, with China responsible for more than one out of three Focus vehicles sold globally.
