The Ford Fiesta and Focus continue to be the most popular cars in Britain during the important sales month.
The Blue Oval has delivered a total of 51,084 last month, up from 47,370 in September 2012. For the year to date Ford car sales were 249,017, up from 224,369 in the first nine month of 2012.

Ford's market share in Britain is now 13.3 percent, 1% better than last year. The Fiesta supermini continues to be the best sold car in the country, while the Focus is coming a close second. Both models have increased sales and share, compared with the same period in 2012.

"Industry sales have grown steadily in the UK this year and as Ford sales have increased so has our sales lead over our nearest rival.  Ford’s market leadership is founded on our best-ever vehicle range supported by the expertise of Ford Credit and our outstanding UK dealer network.  The strength of our appeal to private customers, who have driven up our share of more profitable retail sales, is testimony to the effectiveness of this combination,” said Mark Ovenden, Ford of Britain chairman and managing director.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
