Ford's Latest Mustang Teaser

It would seem that Toyota has started a trend among automakers with its ad campaign of releasing a teaser picture at the rate of about one a week, detailing some part of the car. The Prius is now being followed in that respect by the Ford Mustang 2010.

The guys from Detroit seem to be focused on the inside of the car lately, because the last couple of pictures are of some detail in the cockpit. This week we have for you a very futuristic-looking and rather artsy gear knob. Made out of aluminum (presumably) it seems to fit with overall look of the car, or it may just be the blue lighting they used for the shot.

Though the picture is focused on the shifter, you can also get a glimpse of the center console with the climate controls and some other knobs and doohickeys. Upon closer inspection, we can also see the stereo controls and the seat warmer buttons.

There are only 3 more pictures to be released in this campaign, judging by the three empty slots in the gallery on Mustang's mini site. In case you didn't know, the car will be officially unveiled at the Los Angeles Auto Show next month, but some of you might have already seen the car in all its glory from the spy shots.

But that doesn't stop Ford from being artistic. For your viewing pleasure, we've added the rest of the teaser pictures. That's in case you still have some interest in the car, because most of the people we've talked to seemed to be so annoyed by this gradual reveal campaign, that they're fed up with the whole thing and want nothing more to do with the Mustang until it comes out. Hope you're not one of those people.
