In case you were wondering what the team at Ford Racing has been up to lately, the vehicle in the adjacent images is your answer. We are talking about a 2013 Mustang that has received a ton of tech goodies, as well as certain exterior tweaks.
Under the hood, we have a Coyote 5L Ford V8 engine, which uses a 2.3-liter, twin-screw Whipple supercharger, an intercooler and other tech upgrades, such as a Mustang GT side exhaust system. The company doesn’t mention the output of the unit, but its “general” specs show that it offers 624 hp and 536 lb-ft (726 Nm) of torque.
Further down the power line, we find a six-speed manual transmission and an 8.8-inch rear axle. The connection to the road is provided by FRPP springs and shocks that brings the car 1 inch (2.54 cm) closer to the road, as well as a set of 19-inch rims that use Pirelli PZero rubber.
The vehicle comes with a Laguna Seca Adjustable Front Splitter and is dressed in Gotta Have It Green, a color that certainly draws attention.
