Ford Puts Evos Concept Into Production... as a Model

The Evos is the most important concept Ford showed in 2011. It influenced the design of everything from the Fiesta to the Fusion, and its impact hasn’t yet been fully felt, as the next Mustang will be the most important recipient of its sharp angles.
The concept that we hold so dear will enter production soon, Ford says. The only problem is you can only drive it in the living room. The transition from concept to scale model is quite serious considering this is only a toy. The Ford designers decide what is the best way to represent the essence of the car in scale. How very German of them!

The model Evos is already available through a dedicated website, but only in Europe. It’s built in 1:433 scale, painted in Red Hot Chilly and costs €40,90 including 19% VAT (for Germany).

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
