Ford Pits F-150 Against Chevy, Ram & Toyota Competition in Suspension Test

In early October we brought you news of Ford releasing a towing comparison test video between the 2015 F-Series Super Duty, the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 and the 2013 Ram 3500. Well, it seems the Blue Oval company is at it again, this time trying to prove that the F-150 tops its rivals when it comes to riding over uneven surfaces.

Ford gives little details about the test or specs of the vehicles involved, but it appears that all the trucks were driven at similar speeds over rough terrain areas specifically created at the manufacturer’s Michigan Proving Grounds. While we’re trying to refrain from drawing conclusions based on biased tests, it’s obvious that the Silverado and the Tundra are in trouble when compared to the F-Series. On the other hand, the 2014 Ram 1500 truck takes it pretty well, which comes as no surprise given the positive reviews it has received so far.

Head over below to watch the video and don’t be shy about using our comment box. We’ll be more happy to read your opinion on this comparison.
