Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 with Custom Intake and Headers Terrorizes Dyno

The S550 incarnation of the Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 is one of the best-sounding machines you can currently find in a showroom. However, you shouldn't expect this to stop the aftermarket realm from delivering goodies destined to the all-motor muscle car.

The latest example of the sort comes from the pony in the piece of footage below, which has been gifted with just two custom tech bits. Nevertheless, since we're talking about the air intake and the exhaust headers, these have the potential to make the Blue Oval machine's voice even sweeter.

Fortunately, this isn't your average oh-let's-play-the-revving-game video. Instead, we're looking at a dyno run, which means you'll get to enjoy the scream of this 'Stand throughout the rev range.

And you should keep in mind that the Voodoo heart of this Mustang comes with an 8,200 rpm redline, so you don't even need to turn up the volume in order to enjoy the action.

We're not aware of the exact muscle bump received by the GT350 after the said aftermarket trip, but, given the extreme decivel thrills the machine delivers, we won't complain. After all, we're here to get some aural kicks, not drag race the thing.

Even so, the clip allows us to check out the engine compartment of the Shelby and we have to admit that all the dust on the car makes us adore the sight of a pony being put to serious work, as opposed to those cars that get the garage queen treatment.

Truth be told, the flat-plane crank soundtrack of the Shelby GT350 has split muscle car aficionados into two camps. There are those who love this soundtrack and those who point their finger at the raspier voice of the machine - which camp do you belong to?
