Ford Mondeo Estate Sport Limited Edition Released in Germany

Ford isn't quite one of the companies that are doing well in a difficult environment so every single model that comes out should be supposed to help the manufacturer increase its sales. However, instead of launching new and fuel efficient models to help the company reach this goal, Ford prefers to concentrate on limited edition versions of its existing products, obviously sold for much more than the standard variants.

Today for instance the European division of Ford introduced in Germany a limited-edition version of the Ford Mondeo Estate that comes with some very exclusive features compared to the base model.

First of all, the limited edition series comes with a choice of three engine, as it follows: a 2.0-liter gasoline unit producing 145 horsepower, a 2.0-liter Duratorq diesel powerplant releasing 140 horsepower and another diesel, 2.2-liter Duratorq, this time with a maximum output of 175 hp.

According to Carscoop, the whole range boasts front and rear bumper aluminum elements which provide a more aggressive and sporty appearance of the Mondeo Estate. 17-inch alloy wheels, tinted windows and silver roof rails are also among the standard features included in the limited edition.

Interiors have been upgraded with sport seats customized with leather and cloth plus aluminum pedals and aluminum trim on the dashboard an instrument panels.

Unfortunately, the model is far from being affordable, especially if taking into account the difficult market conditions everybody's currently experiencing. Pricing for the limited edition Mondeo Estate Sport starts from 29,150 euros (approximately $37,900), with only 500 units of the whole range to be produced.
