Ford Launches Falcon Turns 50 Facebook Contest

Ford’s Australian division has prepared a special gift for the Falcon model, offering customers and fans the opportunity to win what the company calls “the Ultimate Ford Experience”.

The automaker is inviting Aussies to share their best Falcon memory by visiting the Falcon turns 50: Facebook page and submitting answers to five questions on the history of the Falcon, posting a 50-100 words caption representing their Falcon experience and uploading the picture that describes it.

Ford is looking for Australia’s great Falcon stories. From exciting restoration jobs to ultimate road trips, everyone has a great Falcon story and Ford wants to hear them all!” stated the press release.

Ford will choose 50 entrants and will offer them the Ultimate Ford Experience, granting them exclusive VIP access to multiple top interest areas and events.

The winners will be able to enjoy the following:
  • A never-seen-before tour of the Ford Design Studio, plus a guided tour of the Broadmeadows assembly plant
  • Private lunch with Ford racing legends Dick Johnson and Allan Moffatt, along with Ford Australia President, Marin Burela
  • A tour of Ford Australia’s highly secret Proving Ground in the You Yangs, Lara - including a whizz around the track with Ford's test drivers
  • A tour of the Ford plant in Geelong, the first permanent Ford factory in Australia

The competition is now open and will run until July 9 2010, with the winners being announced on the aforementioned Facebook page on July 14, 2010.
