We are dealing with what seems to be a miraculous escape here, as both the driver and the passenger of the car crash disaster you see in the adjacent video have survived. We wanted to tell you this from the first sentence, but we also have to come with the details.
According to Wood TV, the Ford GT that you see split in parts and burned in the image, was being driven eastbound in the 1100 block of Sternberg Road, when the man behind the wheel swerved to avoid hitting a car that was turning in front of it.

The driver lost control, with the car skidding across all five lanes of the roads and hitting an utility pole. The vehicle was separated into at least two parts, with the main one, which included the cabin and the engine, catching fire.

It seems that witnesses put the fired out, while getting the driver and his passenger out of the inferno. The latter were reportedly badly injured, but,l like we said in the beginning, managed to survive the terrific accident.
