Fast Fords have been conspicuously missing from the top of the hot hatch totem poll ever since the old Focus RS was discontinued. However, fans of the blue oval badge are keeping busy with unique custom projects, like this Galaxy on acid we've recently discovered.
Initially designed to be a large MPV or shuttle car, the Galaxy has now found new life among the hottest of the hot, thanks to an engine swap. Carried out last year by Killa Racing, we're 90% sure that this Galaxy now has a 2.5-liter five-cylinder turbo from the RS.

Forget about the 2.3-liter Mustang – that only has four cylinders. This Galaxy knows where the party is at and has an extra banger to prove it!

Even if the MPV didn't get a real RS engine, which is quite rare these days, it at least has an ST engine that's been heavily modified. Looking under its bonnet, we notice Mountune had a little something do do with tuning this beast, which means everything from sports cams to sports exhaust and air filters has been installed.

Even the body of the Galaxy has been completely revised, with flared fenders, a vented hood, rear diffuser and of course 20-inch black wheels borrowed from the RS. But the best feature is the acid green paint, which leaves you in no doubt that this is the hottest MPV on the planet.

Speaking of hot, the Galaxy RS has a de-restricted exhaust which likes nothing more than to shoot flames. And we're not taking about a few spurts of hotness on the overruns. No, these are full-on dragster, the Eye of Sauron, dragon's breath sort of stuff.
