Ford Galaxy Moves Britain's Got Talent Winners Diversity

The 11 members making up Britain's Got Talent winners Diversity must have been very excited about the new Ford Galaxy, because on receiving the new tour support vehicle, they started braking out into head stands and windmills. The 13 to 25-year-olds from Essex and East London will be touring using the seven-seat Ford Galaxy in Titanium X trim with 2.0-litre TDCi 140PS engine.

The dance crew collected their new Ford from one of the company's manufacturing centre, which is coincidentally nearby from where they live. The group was at Ford's wind-powered Dagenham Diesel Centre – one of two plants on the estate producing almost a million diesel engines for blue oval-badged vehicles a year.

"As the Ford car offering the most space and versatility, the Ford Galaxy is well matched to Diversity's requirements for space for multiple passengers and equipment.  Essex is Ford's spiritual home and I'm delighted that we are able to support another of our county's favorites," said Jon Wellsman, Ford Britain sales director

"The logistics of organizing Diversity's 11 members, plus a couple of managers, to get to all the group's events are now a lot simpler thanks to Ford's loan.  The lads like their Ford Galaxy's impressive features such as LED interior lights, USB connectivity and glass panorama roof – all standard on this model," added Danielle Banjo, Diversity's manager.

Ford Britain has sold almost 3,500 Ford Galaxys in the UK for the year to date.  Priced from £24,560, the Ford Galaxy is Britain's top selling Multi Purpose Vehicle (MPV), last year taking 64 percent of sales in the MPV segment.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
