As a hot hatch fan, I still remember the day when Clarkson compared the then brand new Ford Focus ST to a training shoe. He made this car sound like a 2.5-liter frosted cake with cherries on top. I'm not alone on this either, as I've often seen people flock to an ST whenever that orange hood is popped open.
But the years have passed and a brand new Focus ST came out, making the old one sound dated. The 2.5-liter 225 hp engine was replaced by a smaller 2.0-liter EcoBoost with more power.
Giving owners of older STs a reason to be proud of their cars again, French firm Digiservices has just released this clip, showing the 2.5-liter engine can still pack a punch. Using Stage I chip tuning, they increased the output to 265.7 hp and 446.6 Nm of torque.
