Ford has published a new video featuring the 2014 Fiesta ST Rallycross car being raced around Detroit in an effort to help bring the 2014 Summer X Games in Michigan.
Driven by Ford Racing driver Andreas Eriksson on a closed course, including Belle Isle and the Michigan Central Depot, the Ford Fiesta ST also burns some rubber atop the Cobo Hall parking structure. The video proves that Ford Racing had a great deal of fun filming this, and they probably won’t regret it if Detroit doesn’t get to host the 2014 Summer X Games after all.
As a reminder, the Fiesta ST Rallycross is powered by a turbocharger 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine rated at 550 HP and can reach 62 mph (100 km/h) in just two seconds. Scroll below to watch this new spectacular video from Ford Racing.
