According to a recent report, the latest and greatest hot supermini from Ford will be sold in China later this year.
Autohome reports that the Fiesta ST will arrive in May, after making its official debut in April at the annual Shanghai Auto Show. The bad new is that it will not be assembled locally, so expect prices to be quite high.

The model imported into China will be the European one, offering a 1.6-liter EcoBoost turbo engine rated at 180 hp. We know from the UK market press announcement that this translates into 0 to 100 km/h in 6.9 seconds and a top speed is 137 mph (220 km/h).

Standard features should include 17-inch alloy wheels, front fog lights, Ford DAB radio and cloth Recaro sport seats.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
