The quirky Fiesta ST just got a new range-topping version, which costs a hefty £19,250 ($32,364 or €23,424 at current rates) in the United Kingdom.
Regrettably for the hot hatch enthusiast, the ST-3 doesn't get a performance bump over the ST-2, but features around £1,400 ($2,353 or €1,703) of extra equipment.
So what exactly do you get for the slightly higher price tag? To put it simply, a lot of very useful stuff, including sat-nav, DAB radio, keyless entry, auto-dimming rearview mirror, automated lights and windscreen wipers.
You also get power-folding mirrors, puddle lamps and cruise control. Annoyingly, rear parking sensors are an optional extra even for the ST-3, commanding a £250 extra.
As for customization, the new model will come in a choice of five exterior colors (Spirit Blue, Race Red, Panther Black, Frozen White and Molten Orange) and two cabin designs (Smoke Storm or Molten Orange).
Just like the ST-2, under the hood you're greeted by a 1.6-litre EcoBoost turbocharged four-cylinder engine that churns out no less than 180 horsepower and 290 Nm (213 lb-ft) of torque. Even though this car returns a fairly economical 47.9 miles per gallon on the UK cycle, it still manages to accelerate from 0 to 62 miles per hour (0 to 100 km/h) in 6.9 seconds.
