Ford’s Fiesta might be a relatively new car in America, but in Europe the car has been available for a good few years. So much so that we are getting ready to see the refresh of the car revealed back in 2008.
The design has been previewed by the Fiesta ST, a brand new hot hatch that will be launched toward the end of the year. This has a bigger upper grille, much like that of the Focus EV and a small lower grille. The headlight have also been sharpened and pulled to create a sportier look.
Based on a recent sighting of the European model Fiesta Sedan facelift, which we’ve seen in our spyshots section, car rendering specialist Theophilus Chin has created an accurate interpretation of what the Fiesta facelift will look like, and it takes some getting used to.
Besides the extra styling, the Fiesta will also have a new engine - he Ford EcoBoost 1.0-liter three-cylinder with 100 PS or 123 PS. We could also be looking at a normally aspirated version with only 80 PS created specifically for the compact car.
