Ford Fiesta Facelift Production Begins

Ford of Europe has started full production of the restyled Fiesta supermini at its factory in Cologne, Germany. The car is a facelift of the sixth-generation model unveiled in 2008, one which has proven very popular.
This new model has fresh skin and new technology as well SYNC, MyKey and Active City Stop, not to mention the award-winning 1-liter EcoBoost engine.
Cosmetically, the car looks different, especially from the front. Ford has given the Fiesta a new grille, much like that used by the new Mondeo/Fusion sedan.

The headlight assembly on the supermini has been changed and now includes LED daytime running light at the button. At the back, the taillight graphics have been revised, while inside there aren’t any major changes.

“The new Fiesta has seven powertrain options – both diesel and petrol – that deliver fuel economy of less than 100 grams of CO2 per kilometer,” said Roelant de Waard, vice president, Marketing, Sales and Service, Ford of Europe.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
