Ford F-150 Survives Fire, Drives Away: Built Tough

Sometimes, advertising is just advertising, while other times slogans can be translated into the real world. We are here now to focus on the Blue Oval’s “Built Ford Tough”. Has anybody really tested this? Apparently, the answer is a big, fat “YES!”.
The adjacent video shows us a Ford F-150 pickup, which has survived a building collapse and in standing in a pile of rubble. Somebody gets in the car, which looks as if it had been used as a train track and just drives it away.

According to the uploader of the video (we must thank Jalopnik for the scoop), a manager at the Keller Ford dealership located in Dauphin, Canada, the vehicle had been seriously affected by the burning of the dealership last month. The following morning, a fireman opened up the truck using the famous jaws of life and then the car was driven away.

Our say: If this is a planned viral scheme, then we must congratulate Ford, if not, we have to stop fueling conspiracy theories.
