The sky-high popularity of the Ford F-150, a status the Blue Oval workhorse has enjoyed for quite some time now, means there's a serious chance to find such a machine in each and every corner of the Internet. However, if we are to talk about the #slammed custom car subculture, whose reach seems to expand with each season, we'll come across quite a few F-150 projects. Case in point with the bed wielder we have here.
This Ford follows a simple customization plan, albeit one that has quite an impact on its appearance. As such, the machine has been gifted with a lowering kit and, if we factor in that generous front skirt, the nose of the vehicle sits as low as that of a sportscar.
More importantly, the factory shoes of the vehicle have been left behind in favor of custom wheels. As such, the truck has been fitted with Vossen Wheels that come in massive 24-inch size. The rolling goodies feature a multi-spoke design, while the concave profile and their two-tone finish help with the attention magnet effect.
One might rightfully aks why anybody would wish to give up on the practicality assets that define a pickup truck, as it is obviously the case with this Ford F-150 - why are those side steps still there, for instance?
Well, the answer has to do something that's in the eye of the beholder. After all, we have to admit that, as mentioned above, these rather small changes do quite a lot for the aesthetic side of the vehicle - keep in mind that this contraption doesn't even bet on a special color scheme to stand out.
