Kiss bassist Gene Simmons and his wife, actress Shannon Tweed, have unveiled their custom 1956 Ford F-100 pickup truck at the 2013 SEMA Show. Built in cooperation with Ford, the classic truck is dubbed Snakebit and features styling cues inspired from the high-performance Shelby Mustangs.
The vehicle is powered by a Ford Racing supercharged 5.4-liter V8 engine that delivers 550 HP via a six-speed manual transmission. It has a stretched wheelbase, a widened box with a billet machined floor that mimics wood, 18-inch front and 20-inch rear wheels, and custom-built head and taillights.

Inside, the bespoke F-100 sports handmade panels, two-tone leather, custom leather-wrapped dashboard and armrests, and a leather bench seat. According to Ford, the Snakebit truck will be auctioned next year by Barrett-Jackson, with proceeds going to help fund a children’s hospital in Shannon Tweed’s hometown in Canada.
