Ford Credit Offers Financial Relief for Customers

Major players on the world’s automotive market are making efforts to respond to their customers’ needs in order to provide a complete range of services. These moves are aimed at making sure that clients stay with a company as they purchase new vehicles. The initiatives come in a wide variety of forms, covering multiple areas of the market.

The latest example of such a development comes from Ford Motor Credit Company, which recently announced that it will offer support for customers affected by the storms and floods which have hit multiple parts of the U.S., by giving them the option to delay some car and truck payments.

The company has developed a dedicated project for this purpose: the Ford Credit Disaster Relief Program. This allows qualified customers to delay up to three monthly payments, resuming their standard payment scheme when their financial situations improves.

As part of the initiative, Ford Credit will send notifications to customers who are eligible for the program, offering them instructions on how to register. The new offer is available to customers who are leasing or have purchased vehicles with financing provided by Ford Credit, Jaguar Credit, Land Rover Capital, Mazda American Credit, PRIMUS or Volvo Car Finance.

The company has created two phone lines (one for Ford and one for the other brands), dedicated to this project. Customers who want to use this financial relief option can call the toll-free numbers in order to register for the Ford Motor Credit Disaster Relief Program.
