Ford Celebrates International Dog Day With Help From Puma’s MegaBox

To mark this special occasion, Ford put together a pop-up beauty parlor, where dog owners could bring their pets for a pampering session, while ogling the car and one of the ways in which the extra storage space in its trunk could be used. Because make no mistake about it, Ford swears by its MegaBox as the most “versatile” storage space created.

“Our mobile puppy parlor was made possible by the new Ford Puma’s innovative MegaBox – a versatile 80-liter storage space in the rear of the car,” the carmaker says in a press release. “The waterproof MegaBox features a drain plug that makes it easy to clean – for example after storing dirty sports equipment – and making it the perfect luxury puppy bath.”

Indeed, as you can see in the video below, this is the best thing after taking your pooch to a doggy beauty parlor for professional grooming. Just fill the MegaBox with water and give the dog a good bath, pull the plug and you’re done.

And this is just one of the ways in which you can use it, though the only that will give your pooch any pleasure.

“Cleaning dogs after a park run is just one way to take advantage of the Ford MegaBox,” Ford continues. “In addition, it can be used to securely store delicate items like groceries, flowers, or even ice. Vertical space is increased by 267 mm, and the extra depth ideal for transporting unstable items such as houseplants and golf bags in an upright position.”
