Ford B-MAX Will Debut at 2012 Mobile World Congress

We’ve waited long enough for the B-MAX sub-compact MPV based on the Ford Fiesta. We were expecting to have its sliding doors and flexible interior in our hands already, but the Blue Oval is finally going to show the car at the Geneva Motor Show in March. Or so we though, because they’ve changed their minds and will debut he new B-MAX at the 2012 Mobile World Congress later this month.

Ford Motor Company executive chairman Bill Ford will personally show off the B-MAX at the venue, which takes place in Barcelona. For Geneva, which is a week later, Ford CEO Alan Mulally will explain what the car is all about.

“Revealing the B-MAX at Mobile World Congress underlines how important technology is to customers and to Ford,” said Stephen Odell, chairman and CEO, Ford of Europe. “B-MAX will raise the bar for small vehicles in Europe, combining technology and premium engineering into a compact frame.”
