Joining the Mustangs and the Fusions at the Ford stand will be five really hot Focus ST tuned hot hatches, especially created by various companies for SEMA 2012.
The first is built by Bernal Auto Style, who have worked a black and orange theme into a race-prepperd Focus ST, which also comes with carbon fiber roof and hood, plus an aggressive body kit.

The second, which happens to be our firm favorite, was designed as a partnership between Ford, Cosworth LLC and Ford Racing. The headline grabber is the oldschool maker of fast Ford has managed to pull 330 horsepower from the 2.0 EcoBoost engine. The car also comes with a custom body kit and what Kahn has confirmed to us is the Kahn Cosworth RS wheel, which is not surprising considering Cosworth and Kahn do lots business together back in the UK.

Famous stunt driver and host of Top Gear USA Tanner Foust has also left his mark on the Focus ST, creating a race-inspired car that’s worthy of the X-Games, with more power and improved looks.

The fourth car is made by Galpin Team and previews what the Focus ST could look like if it got into rallying. Last but not least, there’s the Steeda Focus ST, which comes with a number of aftermarket components that will actually be available, such as Brembo brakes and 19-inch wheels.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
