Some say it's better to carry good protection while riding and not needing it than coming off the bike and wishing you had some. While a discussion on the matter of how much body protection is enough could be easily taken into the next century, and ATTGATT guys looking at everybody in anger, here's some nice news for the fans of underwear armor: new Pro series from Forcefield.
The Forcefield Pro series comprises 4 items: two shirts, a pair of trousers and a pair of shorts, hopefully covering all the needs. One of the shirts is a no-back one, we must add. The Pro series body armor is made of Nitrex Evo technical energy absorbing material with the all new M15 armor, a specialized polymer from Nitrile rubber for low weight and multiple impact protection (Repeat Performance Technology).
The Pro armor shell is made with BeCool fiber which is breathable and offers excellent comfort. The armor pads are removable and the Pro items are safe for machine washing. The Forcefield Pro come with a CE-approval seal, (Level 2 for the back protector) and the shirts sport a quick fastening full zipper system.
Forcefield Pro armor is available in XS, S, M , L and XL, with shirts around $299 (€224) and $179 (€134) for the shorts.
