Forget about the Volkswagen Bus and flower decals, this Pontiac Fiero is the ultimate modern hippie car. Why? Because it will look more interesting if you're under the influence and it's all about reusing and recycling.
Recently posted for sale on Craigslist, which is also a mecca for all things hippie, this custom creation resides in Jackson, Tennessee. The seller wants $4,500 for it and we definitely don't think it's worth that, which is not to say that it isn't cool.

The project started out with a junker 1984 Pontiac Fiero, the darling of the supercar replica world. After the front end was removed, the motorcycle bits from an older Honda Goldwing were added in combination to what we can only describe as a boat-like hull.

Many coats of bronze paint and probably a couple of gallons of filler and the Golden Goose is born!

Power still comes from the rear-mounted 2.5-liter Pontiac four-cylinder engine. But while the acceleration and braking are done using normal pedals, the steering is done using handlebars installed in the middle of the cabin and linked using chromoly rods to the front forks. The automatic gearbox, meanwhile, is engaged using a little stick that almost sits between your legs. Yes, that looks totally safe!

"Has Goldwing front end, 2.5 fuel injected 4cyl auto rear wheels are Billet specialty, you don't see many of these," the seller named Chris says. Maybe there's a reason for that, sir.
