A strange and unpreventable incident caused serious damage on a road in Russia, and video of it has gone viral after it was picked up by the international media.
Luckily, no human life was lost in the crash that involved a Scania truck, a silver Ford Focus and a Fredliner semi truck. However, the damage caused was considerable, as the Fredliner burst into flames and, after at least 3 consecutive explosions, burned down to the ground.

The entire chain of events was captured on the dashcam of another motorist, going in the same direction as the Ford Focus. You can also see it at the bottom of the page, but here’s how Viral Hog describes what happened.

“A wheel disconnected from Scania car, which rolled out onto the roadway causing a collision with a Ford Focus car, driven by a 47-year-old resident of the Voronezh region, who was moving in the opposite direction,” Viral Hog says.

“After hitting the wheels, the driver of the Ford Focus car had a collision with the Fredliner car moving in the opposite direction and then caught fire. As a result of a traffic accident, the driver of the Ford Focus was taken to a medical facility,”
the report adds.

If you look closely, you can see the driver of the semi truck get out of the vehicle while the cabin is engulfed by flames – but some time before the first explosion. If he’s hurt badly, he doesn’t show it, and he manages to put some distance between himself and the semi before the explosion.

The report doesn’t say anything about the driver of the Scania truck – and you can’t see the vehicle in the video either. As for the condition of the Ford driver, details remain scarce as of this moment.

In case you’re wondering why the woman in the other car is crying, helpful commenters to the original YouTube post with knowledge of the Russian language claim she’s in hysterics about “cadavers everywhere” and about not wanting to go further with the planned trip.
