Even though there’s no official announcement yet, negotiations between welterweights Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao seem to be leading to a long expected fight. So what do you do when you’re a five-division world champion that puts his belt on the line? You buy a $3 million dollar supercar, of course.
Discussions between the two have been going on for some time now, but according to International Business Times, promoter and Top Rank CEO Bob Arum is confident that the world’s top two boxers will finally meet in 2015, after more than five years of speculation. Could this be the reason Mayweather just bought a super expensive supercar? It wouldn’t be the first time he did that.

At some point the famous boxer and lifestyle player posted a video of his thousand horsepower Bugatti monsters on Instagram. It was before he would meet Marcos Maidana once again in a Las Vegas match. Like we’re doing now, back then we were wondering if the sportsman was looking for a bit of encouragement.

After all, Mayweather’s relation with his mesmerizing car collection is even more special than what he has with his ladies. Just think of what the boxer did recently, when he simply got overwhelmed by his own possessions and barged into an Instagram spree. So why wouldn’t this be a manner through which the champ is getting in shape whenever he has a big match ahead?

New fight, new million-dollar car. That’s how it seems to be with Mayweather and he’s not afraid to show it as often as possible. This time it’s a new Ferrari Enzo, last time it was a Bugatti, who knows what’s next?
