You won’t hear Floyd Mayweather's son singing Janis Joplin’ famous “Oh Lord, won’t you buy me a Mercedes-Benz” line anytime soon. And it’s not because the recently-turned-16 teenager has a different taste in music. It’s because whatever Koraun Amir Mayweather wants, he gets.
For a freshly retired, five-division boxing champ who regularly spends an average $100,000 on aftermarket enhancements for each of his luxury cars, a brand new Mercedes-Benz C-Class is not a such a big deal.

But for the champ's eldest son, switching from a golden Bentley golf cart that was custom built into an actual luxury coupe, that's a hell of a jump. That’s exactly what happened to Mayweather’s kid, who has just turned 16, which means he can start driving a car in most states. Sure, he’ll be able to hit the road with his new Merc only under certain restrictions. Nevertheless, one must admit most of the teenagers can only dream their first car to be a brand new C-Class.

Power displacement arrives in more than one choice, but if one were to bet their money on which configuration the C-Class at hand comes in, they’ll probably opt for the AMG-enhanced Biturbo V6 developing an impressive 362 hp. Sure there’s also the weaker C300’s 241 hp turbo-4 or the cleaner C350e, but none of these seem to come up to Mayweather's expectations.

One must not ignore the fact that the champ has an impressive fleet of luxury cars that includes four Bugatti Veyrons, Rolls-Royces, Ferraris, and even the one-of-three Koenigsegg Trevita. As a matter of fact, he only recently bought a Mercedes for his own pleasure, only that instead of the C-Class, he went the whole nine yards, opting for the exclusive Mercedes-Maybach S600.

Buying expensive cars is the second thing Floyd Mayweather knows to do best, right next to throwing punches in the ring, of course. Fans should expect the five-division, undefeated champ to continue this car-shopping spree, especially with Christmas being just around the corner.
