Florida man is a one of a kind type of driver and, occasionally, criminal. He laughs in face of danger and the general direction of authorities, and performs stunts that seemed, until he came along, downright impossible.
Florida man, as you may have noticed, was on a well-deserved break, mostly because driving was restricted to only essential travel. As the entire world is starting to ease back into the old lifestyle we had before the international health crisis, Florida man is making a comeback.

In the process, he’s giving us a stunt that’s as puzzling as it’s impressive: Florida man has reinvented reverse parking. On May 4, in Hernando, Florida, a Cadillac XTS backed out of the parking lot of a local bank and ripped through an intersection at high speed, before launching itself on top of two other cars – parked in the same lot he’d just departed.

This sounds more complicated than it was, and somehow less impressive. The video available at the bottom of the page captures the strange accident, which saw the Caddy jump two curbs and speeding through an intersection, before coming in through the other side of the same parking lot he’d just left.

Because of the speed it was traveling at, the Caddy ended up on top of a Volkswagen Jetta and a Dodge Journey, both of which sustained significant damage to the front.

The good news is that, according to Fox 14 Tampa Bay, no one was injured in the strange crash. The two cars were unoccupied at the time and Florida man apparently walked away unhurt. Police are still looking to determine the cause of the accident, and further details will be unveiled once the investigation concludes.

With the fact that no one was hurt in mind, here’s Florida man reinventing reverse parking. Think of this the next time you see someone struggling to back into a space.
