Flat Six Symphony - 993 RUF Turbo R

The 993 was the last old-style 911, with the 996 that followed being longer and having different proportions overall - slightly altering the ‘classic 911’ body shape. If you are looking for a good 911, then the 993 is a great choice, especially the ones tuned by RUF, like the mental Turbo R.
It maintained the ‘normal’ 993’s 3.6-liter flat six engine, but thanks to two big turbos, power was increased to 490 hp - a respectable number for a car made almost 15 years ago. This video shows the lucky owner of just such a Turbo R, with excellent sound quality so as you can hear the rather tuneful boxer engine hanging out of the back.

Not only is it good looking, for a 911, but it’s also mind-bogglingly quick, with a claimed top speed of 329 km/h ( 204 mph) so if you live in Germany (or Texas) you’ll get to where you need to go much quicker, and legally (not in Texas).
