It’s a shame that these simple and sturdy cars, like the Scion xB, are almost forgotten, and Auto Guide has released an overview to tell us the most important five facts about the boxy little car, which should make people think again.

Spaciousness - The Scion xB’s key selling point is it’s size per dollar. It has 38-inches of leg room and over 41 inches of head room, making it more spacious than the majority of compact hatchback. Also, the almost square entry point and very low load floor, makes the 11.6 cubic feet luggage space accommodate lots of bags.

Low price - A standard xB starts at $17,750, but you can get crazy with the option list and almost reach the $30,000 mark.

Spartan but nice interior - If you like minimalism, the Scion xB’s interior will appeal you a lot. It has simple shapes and easy to use controls along with features like air conditioning, power windows, tilt/telescopic steering wheel and keyless entry.

Perky engine - 158 hp and 162 lb-ft of torque are just enough for the every day sprint and an average 25.6 mpg is not bad at all.

Looks - Boxy shape with round pronounced wheel arches gives the Scion xB a classic shape, while its huge C pillar makes it unique.
