These days, the Internet has made sharing life hacks easier than ever and those of you who have a thing for the Porsche 911 should have a look at the ones discussed here.
The Neunelfer obviously has its hidden features, and we're here to focus on five such aspects of the latest 991.2 model. The features are explained by Nick Murray, a vlogger who is one of the most vocal 911 owners out there. Nick used to own a nine-a-lemon 991.1 model, but gave up his Porsche due to all the tech issues the car experienced, switching camps by going for a BMW M4. The YouTuber has now returned to Zuffenhausen machines with the help of a 991.2 Carrera 4S, one that packs a manual tranny.

Most of the aspects the vlogger delivers in the piece of footage below can be found in the owner's manual. However, with many drivers playing the "no time for that" card these days, we're glad to bring you a nine-minute clip that can sort things out.

We won't list all the points here, as we don't want to ruin the fun of the clip and yet we do have a few mentions to make.

For instance, Nick talks about how troublesome Porsche's parking brake actuation routine can be. From the driver's perspective, things have to happen the other way around compared to most cars on the market. And, if you think about it, all the other carmakers, who ask the driver to pull the e-brake button for engaging the feature and push it for disengaging it, are right. After all, that's what you would do with the lever of a mechanical system. So Porsche's way seems double-crazy.

This detail also reminds us of the time when Nick wanted to see if he could pull a "handbrake turn" in his Porsche 911, with the result being less than satisfying.

If the Porsche info delivered by this video happens to float your boat and you feel that you'd like to dig deeper into such automotive life hacks, we'll remind you that Ferraris have their fair share of hidden features.
