While there’s been a lot of talk surrounding the Fisker Karma range-extended luxury EV, we’ve hadn’t really seen things from the owner’s point of view. The owner, of this silver example, Youtube user blgreenstone, has had the car since December, so enough time has passed for him to gather information and have a very pertinent point of view.
We won’t give it all away, but let’s just say he is very objective about things, despite it being his car which he bought with his own money, the owner, an iPhone app developer, isn’t afraid to criticize the car’s weak points, as it has quite a few of those, sadly.
He does praise the car for being very comfortable, for its stunning looks and very composed handling, but build quality issues, as well as the badly designed user interface for the infotainment system prevent the overall impression to be one of near-perfection, like on some of the newer premium cars from mainstream manufacturers.
