The Fisker Karma will be available to customers in Miami, as the vehicle will enter the Warren Henry Automobile’s product portfolio.
The premium plug-in hybrid will join models belonging to premium brands in the multi-brand dealer's showroom. These belong to marques like Lamborghini, Land Rover, Jaguar, Infiniti and Volvo.
"We're very excited to bring the Fisker brand to Miami. The vehicle represents everything we appreciate in a car; style, performance and advanced technology. This is one car that truly is like no other, and it is a vehicle that people will need to drive to believe!" said Warren Henry Zinn, President of Warren Henry Automobiles.
The Fisker Karma is an Extended Range Electric Vehicle that uses a 2.0 liter turbocharged ecotec gasoline engine in conjunction with two electric motors, which produce 201 hp each. The internal combustion unit is mated to a generator to offer an electrical connection to the motors and recharge the batteries, so the electric twins are actually providing the pulling power of the vehicle.
The Karma offers a range of 50 miles (80 km), which can be expanded to 300 miles (482 km) through the use of the internal combustion engine. The car needs less than six seconds to deal with the 0 to 62mph (100 km/h) sprint and offers a top speed of 125 mpg (201 km/h).
The car is currently on a tour that should allow it’s 1,600 U.S. and Canadian customers (we are talking about people who reserved a Karma) to enjoy a personal experience with the vehicle. However, the tour does not include test drives.
