First UK Infiniti Center Open

UK’s wait for the luxury automotive brand is finally over, as the first British Infiniti Center has just open in Reading, the commercial capital of Thames Valley. Europe’s 22nd, UK’s inaugural Infiniti showroom is just 10 minutes from Junction 11 of the M4.

The Reading Centre keeps the line of the other Infiniti Centers throughout the rest of Europe and is just one of the nine showrooms due to open in UK by the end of 2011.

Next year new Centres will open in London, Birmingham and Glasgow. In 2011, a further four Infiniti Centres are planned for Stockport and Leeds, with two more in London serving the north and south of the capital.

Britons will be able to take a closer look to the Saloon and Coupe versions of the G37, as well as of the newest G37 Convertible. (G37 prices start at £30,300). The V6-powered EX crossover combines features from estate and sports cars, with prices starting at £35,200. On the other hand, the full-size FX crossover is priced from £42,600 and up to £53,800 for the V8-powered FX50S.

According to the manufacturer, every new Infiniti also comes with an "industry-leading peace-of-mind package" with warranties covering the vehicle (60,000 miles or three years), the body (12-year anti-corrosion), and the paint (three years against defects).

The first European Infiniti Centre opened in Paris in October 2008 and was followed by the ones in Barcelona, Madrid, Sofia, Athens, Milan, Prague, Warsaw, Zurich, Tel Aviv and Geneva. Aside from exhibiting the brand’s luxury cars, Infiniti Centres follow a lobby/lounge/gallery layout, with all the sofas and lounge chairs designed by Walter Knoll.

The entrance to every Infiniti Center is the same, namely through a door surrounded by Travertine stone, while the music featured on the CDs in cars available for test drives was specially chosen and recorded by Infiniti.
