If you’ve become confused with the whole Toyobaru sportscar arrival, it’s about to get worse. Subaru has just released the first official photo of the BRZ Concept STI, the first true concept of their upcoming 2+2 coupe, which will be fully revealed at the 2011 Los Angeles Auto Show on November 16th.
The picture is of the back of the car, and if you are curios as to what the front end looks like, check out the latest renderings, which we think are very accurate.
The Concept STI is clearly not there to show what the base BRZ model will look like, as spyshots have revealed this has only two exhaust tips and no big wing on the back. The production car is also likely going to have a different diffuser and the taillights will be more rounded.
However, according to recent rumors, an STI version of the BRZ is indeed coming, and this photo confirms the speculations to be true. The base BRZ is expected in Spring 2012 for $25,300, so we might have a while to wait a bit for the STI.
