2013 marks the 30th anniversary of the BMW K-series, so everybody was expecting the special edition bike.
BMW shows the first pictures of their "30 Jahre K-Modelle" (30 years K-model). The bike will surface officially at the EICMA show in Milan, Italy, early November.
The anniversary K 1300 S comes in Alpine White/ Sapphire Black Metallic and Racing Red, with a tinted windshield and the premium safety package containing ABS, RDC and ASC systems, together with the Electronic Adjustment Duolever suspension. Heated grips and a HP shift assistant also come as standard.
Since it's party time, the sound of the 30th Anniversary BMW K 1300 S comes from an aftermarket Akrapovic sport silencer, while the whole bike will be controlled by an on-board computer. Customers will be able to choose from an extensive range of additional fittings and individually tailored accessories. No price has been announced at the moment, but info on this matter will surely be available presently.
