Ferrari says that the video was filmed during the development phases of the FF, using circuits and roads around the world. We see the car in different stages of its evolution, from test mule, to prototype and finally to the pre-production model, on different and often times difficult road conditions.
From the dirt road of Tierra del Fuego to the Michelin test track in Clermont-Ferrand and frosty Scandinavia, the FF passes with flying colors. This comes as no surprise, as the FF features the supercar maker’s first ever four-wheel drive system, called the 4RM. According to the manufacturer, it weighs half of what a conventional system does, while also maintaining perfect weight distribution (53 percent over the rear axle). The FF also comes with the latest version of magnetorheological damping system (SCM3), as well as the freshly-developed carbon-ceramic brakes from Brembo.
Under the bonnet, you’ll find a new 6.262 cc direct-injection engine that churns out 651 hp at 8,000 rpm and 683 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm, which are enough to make the shooting-brake accelerate from 0 to 100 Km/h (0 to 62 mph) in 3.7 seconds.
The flagship grand tourer has enough room for four people, thanks to its elongated roofline that offers plenty of cabin space, so your friends and children could also enjoy going sideways in Scandinavia.
