Scratch the paintjob on a white Honda Civic and every repair shop will be able to fix it really cheaply. However, get one thing broken or damaged very rare, very expensive hypercar and it will cost a small fortune. We call it hyper-damage because that's how owners act when they see it.
This Instagram-style photo shows the first hyper-damage to a McLaren P1, the fastest production car made in Britain and one of the contenders for the best track tool on the planet. The wide hips of the car reportedly came a little too close to another car, somewhere in England.
This P1, which appears to be pearl white, has sustained light damage to its front left quarters. It looks light, but dame could have been dealt to a lot of side panels. The mirror, wheels, front skirt and side skirt will all need to be replaced. That will not buff out!
