Now that the 2014 Range Rover Sport has stepped onto the automotive scene, it's time for the first generation of the car to be sent to a garage in heaven. Land Rover has stopped the production of the SUV on Thursday, with the automotive producer now preparing to start bringing the new model to the world.
The Range Rover Sport started out in life more as an experiment, being launched in 2005, when the British automaker was under Ford ownership. Unlike the new model, which shares its chassis with the Range Rover, the first one was built on the Discovery's Integrated Body Frame architecture.
