A relatively new, emerging market, Romania hosted this cool event in an even cooler place: one of the best enduro circuits in the whole Europe, the Breghina motocross track in Zarnesti, at the very heart of the country, near major city Brasov.

The track is owned by multiple Dakar Romanian rider Marcel Butuza and was voted the best off-road race track in Europe back in 2009. BMW Motorrad brought a large fleet of GS bikes and the test rides were fully-booked, with around 140 riders getting a hands-on experience with the machinery, Ionut Batu of BMW Group Romania (supplying the fleet) told.

The attendance for this inaugural event exceeded 1000, great prospects are envisioned for the brand in the Romanian market. Other major attractions were Chris Pfeiffer and his amazing stunting art, former Red Bull Romaniacs hard enduro winner in the Expert Single class Ioan Tara (BMW G450X), World Skydiving Champion Alexandru Nicolau, both from Romania.

Contests and live music were of course on the menu, and it looks like the success of the 2013 BMW Motorrad Days in Romania will brings even more Bavarian goodness in the future editions.
