It seems like the the launch of the 2 Series will be a success. That’s because bad luck was already shooed away by the first crash of a 2er caught on camera by a Bimmertoday reader.
The car in the photos is a right-hand drive 220i in Estoril Blue, fitted with the M Sport package. Apparently the car was in the UK for some tests and came back to the Leipzig factory damaged following what seems like a mild crash.
Sure, the headlight and front bumper seem pretty messed up but we’re sure the engineers and mechanics over in Germany will get it fixed in no time.
In the meanwhile, the 2 Series will reach the market next spring with 3 models for starters: the 220i, M235i and one diesel (not available in the US), the 220d.
