First Coda Electric Sedan Delivered to AEP Ohio Fleet

The Coda sedan was supposed to be released nearly 3 months ago, however, due to a problem with some of the parts shipped from China, the launch was postponed.

The first 10 cars were put on sale in their L.A. based dealership and, apparently, this average-looking electric sedan has made its first ‘victim’ on the fleet market, with the first car was delivered to the AEP (American Electric Power) Ohio fleet this week. The car was integrated into a demo-project, with the purpose of educating people about EVs and the charging infrastructure, taking place in N-E Ohio.

If the car performs as advertised, they will probably order more CODAs and slowly and surely, the electric car manufacturer will steadily consolidate its position on the market, and thanks to cheap parts delivered from China and assembled in the US, they will be able to keep production costs and sale prices low.
