Infiniti has not sold its cars in Australia up until now, but they will start selling their cars there starting this August. The luxury Japanese automaker has partnered up with three of the best luxury car retailers in the country in order to set up their retail centers before the August deadline.
This is only the first step in Infiniti’s Australian market expansion and is the culmination of a thorough search of the industry which was narrowed down to just 3 retailers. They have other long-term steps planned in order to consolidate their position in Australia.
For the locations of the first retail centers, they have chosen three of Australia’s largest cities - Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane with plans of opening new dealerships in Perth and Adelaide by the year 2013.
