First Aston Martin Dealership Opens in Poland

British luxury carmaker Aston Martin yesterday celebrated the opening of its first dealership in Poland, marking the brand’s further expansion through Eastern Europe. Dubbed Aston Martin Warszawa, the dealership has been made possible thanks to a partnership with AML Polska.

“We are very pleased that we have been given the opportunity to cooperate with such an luxurious brand as Aston Martin,”
Marcin Dabrowski, Vice-chairman and Managing Director of AML Polska, said in a release. “Warsaw is now joining the list of the most prestigious cities on the world’s map of motorisation."

The new Aston Martin showroom will house all the Aston Martin base models including the V8, V12 Vantage, DB9, and DBS. The four-door Aston Martin Rapide will be available in-store in April. Furthermore, the dealership will also hold two dynamic cars to give customers test driving possibilities.

“We have been inundated by Polish customers who have expressed a strong desire for our cars, finally we have the right partner and the right facility in place to serve them directly,” said Ulrich Bez, Aston Martin Chief Executive.

“The luxury car market in Poland is expanding, both in sales to individuals and businesses,”
added Bez. “With increasing foreign investment and economic growth, both this city and our new partners have a lot to offer, we are keen to have them on board. Warsaw will be fundamental to our growth further through Eastern Europe, an important goal in our network development strategy.”

Aston Martin will continue to increase its worldwide dealership network throughout 2010. Within the European region, Aston Martin Warsaw brings the total number of dealers to 48 spanning 16 countries with further expansion plans including Athens, Greece, and Florence, Italy.
